- Desktop-wide font configuration GUI: Should support font grouping, per font rendering options, etc. Closely related to font dialog. Fontmatrix may be a good start.

Generally speaking, there is no real documentation of the upcoming harfbuzz release. A strong support of internationalization (e.g. OpenType) is the main focus of the engine.
